Tuna Mornay
- 2 slices fresh bread
- 1 brown onion, Quartered
- 20 g extra virgin olive oil
- 30 g Butter
- 400 g full cream milk
- 30 g plain flour
- 2 pinches ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- to taste pepper, black, ground
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 425 g tuna, canned, in brine, drained

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Tear bread into smaller pieces and place in bowl. Chop for 5 sec / speed 7 put aside
2. Chop onion 2 sec / speed 6
3. Scrape down bowl and chop for another 2 sec / speed 6
4. Add oil and Saute for 4 mins / 100 deg / speed 2
5. Add butter, flour, milk, nutmeg and salt and pepper to the bowl. Cook for 7 mins / 90 deg / speed 4
6. Add drained Tuna and lemon juice. Mix for 10 secs / "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 3
7. Pour into a casserole dish and sprinkle with fresh breadcrumbs.
8. Bake in a moderate oven for 20-30 mins or until browned on top
