      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Directions
  1. Preheat Oven to 180.c. Place dates into boiling water in a bowl for 5 minutes and set aside.
  2. Pour rolled oats into Closed lid Mixing Bowl and Mill 15 sec / 0.c / Spd 9
  3. Scrape down sides and then add in Banana, dates, coconut oil and cinnamon to mixture
  4. Mix 10 seconds / 0.c / Speed 4 - mixture will be crumbly which is what you want
  5. If Making Rusks:
  6. Take a small ball of the dough and roll it with your hands into a circle and then into a long cylinder.
  7. Place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper or silicon mat and press down on it so that it’s slightly flatter.
  8. Round out the edges to make a nicely shaped baton.
  9. If making Cookies
  10. Put dough onto silicon mat and cover with another silicon mat or fold mat in half
  11. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough until you get a flat large square about ½ cm thick.
  12. Cut it into long thin rectangles or use cookie cutter to make round shapes.
  13. Cook your teething rusks on the middle shelf of the oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges are slightly golden.
