Tip

This is great to freeze ahead for future meals. I use silicon patty pans to portion out in the freezer for easy access.

You could use any preferred milk in the bechamel.

  • Hi Emz, Nuttlex was

    Submitted by ThermoFlavour on 2. July 2015 - 11:08.

    Hi Emz,

Nuttlex was recommended for my DF bub from 8 months by our dietician. If you're not sure then perhaps check with your medical professional. If you're able to have dairy then butter would be fine.

Yum! My little man enjoyed this heaps tonight. I think you could make a family meal out of it by adding some seasoning and some cheese to the mix and putting in vol au vents.

  • Awesome.  Fed this to my 16

    Submitted by sikllama on 30. March 2014 - 18:31.

Awesome.  Fed this to my 16 month old after a week of not eating due to flu. Scoffed it all down (and she is a picky girl!). I changed the plain flour to gluten free plain flour (still 50g)) so that it was GF as well as DF and was still fantastic.  Oh - and brilliant hint re silicon patty pans Thanks!
