Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip
If serving immediately I like to use 110g milk and add cool milk once cooked so it is cooled quicker for baby.
Frozen bananas also work well.
Banana can be swapped for a handful of fresh or frozen berries. Get creative!

Babies aren't meant to have honey in the first 12 months google it. its actually really dangerous not worth the risk to be the small % that lose their baby due to some honey.

So quick and easy, and exactly what I was looking for. My 7month old loved it, and has this for breakfast so frequently. Now that he is a little bit older, I don't blitz the oats anymore, and I mix it with different fruit, e.g. apple puree and add a bit of cinnamon. (I didn't add honey and don't think it is necessary- the fruit is naturally sweet). Regarding the portions, it made heaps more than 2 portions- I froze it in the freezer and would take out a portion or 2 and defrost- lasted a while. Thanks

I mill the oats for 5 sec on speed 7 first, it reminds me of a creamy oater porridge that's no longer for sale

I milled the oats beforehand and added about 10g of coconut sugar instead of the honey. 10 m.o. is enjoying it!
