Beef and pork sausage rolls

Ingredients

Filling

  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 onion, Chopped in half
  • 1 carrot, Roughly chopped
  • 1 zucchini, Roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 heaped tablespoon tomato relish
  • 1 egg
  • 50 grams breadcrumbs
  • 500 grams Beef mince
  • 250 grams pork mince

Pastry

  • 4 sheets Puff pastry, (Or make using edc)
  • 1 dash Milk

Recipe's preparation

    Beef pork sausage rolls
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees

    Place garlic and onion in bowl 4 seconds at speed 7. Cook 100 degrees for 3 minutes, MC on.

    Add carrot and zucchini 5 seconds at speed 7.

    Wring out excess liquid in either a sieve or TM basket, and return to TM.

    Add worchestershire sauce, tomato relish, egg, bread crumbs and beef and pork since mix 10-15 seconds reverse speed 4 until combined. If not mixing through, break up and stir through with a spatula until evenly mixed through.

    Place sausage mix down the centre of pastry (1 sheet cut in half to make a total of 6)

    roll the pastry around the filling and cut each piece into 4 (or 2 if you prefer larger sausage rolls)

    paint pastry with milk and cook for 25 mins until pastry is golden.

Tip

Also tastes great with Chicken Mince/beef Mince or a 50/50 combo of chicken and beef (make your own mince it so easy!)
