To make dough:
- 350 g self-raising flour
- 1 pinches salt
- 30 g Butter, diced
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 beer, (1/2 cup)
- 1/2 water, (1/2 cup)
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 210c.
- Add flour, salt, butter & sugar to bowl. Mix 5 sec / speed 6.
- Add beer & water to bowl. Mix 5 sec / speed 6.
- "Dough mode" 1 minute 30 secs
- Divide mixture into 4 and shape into balls. Place onto a prepared tray.
- Score the tops of each ball into a cross.
- Brush with milk & sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until browned.
