Gluten-free crêpes

24 portion(s)

Gluten-free crêpes

  • 250 grams Gluten free plain flour, I use a commercial mix.
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 grams Milk, Use an alternative milk if you want Dairy Free. (Goat, Soy, Almond etc.)
  • 30 grams Rice Bran Oil
  • 150 grams Apple Cider/Beer or Soda, More or less depending on desired thickness

Recipe's preparation

  1. Put all the ingredients except the beer/apple cider or soda into the Thermomix bowl and mix on 4 for 10 to 15 seconds.
  2. Add the appropriate amount of apple cider/beer or soda until you get the desired thickness, I use 150 grams. If you're using beer you have to make sure that it's gluten-free beer if you want the recipe to remain gluten-free . Mix on 4 for 5 seconds.
  3. Cook on your crêpe maker or in your frypan.
  4. Fill with your desired filling. Rolling into a package or however you enjoy your crepes.

I make the savoury by filling them with a mixture of minced meat, cooked with onion and soy sauce. Next I add cooked bean thread noodles. Sometimes I make them sweet by filling them with apples or sweetened cream cheese. Today I filled them with meat to take on a picnic with my grandchildren .
