Quick and easy and you can add different veggies to add nutrition and use up what you have in the fridge. Cauliflour and BokChoy/spinach go in easily. I also always add a good teaspoon of veggie stock to every batch. I also cut up and freeze it for easy school lunches. It is just as nice cold. I have also made it without the tomatoes as I didn't have any and it was still a hit. Also it is better with less flour.

  • We made this for dinner

    Submitted by 77blondy on 11. February 2015 - 23:34.

We made this for dinner tonight and I didn't know what to expect as it was so easy and all processed together. However it turned out great. Was very yummy and easy to make. We cooked ours 1 hr at 170 deg. This will definitely be one of our new regular dishes. Thanks so much for posting.

  • Yum! Will be making this

    Submitted by dancequeen on 14. January 2015 - 00:45.

Yum! Will be making this again, simple and delicious! Thanks! Reduced SR flour to 140g and added an extra egg and some milk (about 40g). Made a quiche dish and 3 large muffin tins worth. skipped tomatoes and added some hand sliced mushrooms once in the dish. Easily adaptable to whatever you have! Had a yummy texture and tastes like it has pastry. Great recipe!

  • I love recipes that have

    Submitted by thermanatrix on 8. January 2015 - 11:29.

I love recipes that have minimal steps so I give 5 stars for the easiness of this recipe!  I substitued a Spanish Onion for a Brown Onion and as I didn't have enough SRF (only about 1/5 of the required amount - I used GF flour too), I substitued the rest with about 1/5 of Quinoa Flakes and 2/5 of Savoury Yeast Flakes.

It cooked nicely in about 40 mins and my son said it was 'good' hot last night (about the best you can get out of a 14 year old boy), and I just had some for brunch this morning and it was yum!

Thanks for a great EASY recipe!

  • Quick, tasty and versatile.

    Submitted by vmwhitak on 7. August 2014 - 19:51.

Quick, tasty and versatile. It tasted a bit floury so I think next time I'll reduce the flour and put in some light philadelphia cooking cream. I'll also add some more veges eg mushrooms and roast pumpkin. I used 2x large/double size 6 cup muffin tins and cooked them in two batches for around 30 mins each batch to cook faster and make it easy to send left overs with hubby to work.
