    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all the ingredients together in the Closed lid
  2. Dough mode for 5 minutes
  3. put aside in a warm place to rise to double the size.
    (about 1 hour)
  4. divide the dough into 8 balls and place on Thermomat to rise for another 10 minutes (cover with plastic wrap to prevent drying out)
  5. flatten out each ball to about 10cm in diameter and about 5mm thick
  6. place in a dry, hot non-stick pan and fry on both sides until cooked and golden. (Do not add oil to your fry pan.)
  7. remove cooked flatbread from pan and place on a plate.
  8. keep the bread covered so that they stay soft

Accessories you need

make sure that you roll the flatbread quite thinly because they do puff up when cooking.
