      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all the ingredients together in the Closed lid
  2. Dough mode for 5 minutes
  3. put aside in a warm place to rise to double the size.
    (about 1 hour)
  4. divide the dough into 8 balls and place on Thermomat to rise for another 10 minutes (cover with plastic wrap to prevent drying out)
  5. flatten out each ball to about 10cm in diameter and about 5mm thick
  6. place in a dry, hot non-stick pan and fry on both sides until cooked and golden. (Do not add oil to your fry pan.)
  7. remove cooked flatbread from pan and place on a plate.
  8. keep the bread covered so that they stay soft

Tip

make sure that you roll the flatbread quite thinly because they do puff up when cooking.
