  • 150 g Butter
  • 150 g sugar

  • 2 --- lemons, zested and juiced, pips removed
  • 125 g sour cream
  • 190 g all purpose flour
  • 1 level teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 level teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 3 tablespoon poppy seeds

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipe's preparation

  1. Grease 12 muffin cups with 1:1:1 mixture of melted butter, oil and flour. Heat oven to 175 degrees C.
  2. Add 150g butter to bowl & melt, 60 degrees, 2 min, speed 1
  3. Weigh 150g sugar, mix 10sec speed 4.
  4. Add 1 egg, lemon juice and zest, 125g sour cream, 190g flour, 5ml baking powder, 5ml baking soda, 45ml poppy seeds.
  5. Mix 10 secs speed 4. Repeat if necessary.
  6. Spoon into greased muffin tin. Bake 15mins at 175 degrees Celcius or until golden.
