  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 360 grams self-raising flour
  • 195 grams brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoons Vanilla Paste
  • 250 grams Butter, (softened)
  • 55 grams walnuts, (optional)
  • 55 grams chocolate chip, (optional)

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Batter
  1. Preheat oven to 175°C
    Grease and line a loaf pan and set aside
  2. Add bananas to mixing bowl and mash 5sec/Sp4
  3. Add flour, sugar, salt, vanilla and butter to mixing bowl and mix 1min/Sp6Counter-clockwise operation
  4. Add walnuts and choc chips (if desired) and mix 30sec/Sp6Counter-clockwise operation
  5. Pour into prepared loaf pan
  6. Bake for 1hour or until skewer inserted into middle comes out clean
  7. Let cool in pan for 5mins before transferring to wire rack
  8. Slice and serve warm or cool depending on your liking
