Chocolate Walnut Button Biscuits

  • 120 grams Butter
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 15 grams cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • 170 grams self-raising flour
  • 1 pinches salt
  • 75 grams walnuts

Recipe's preparation

    Biscuits
  1. Melt butter 2m/90c/sp2
  2. Add Cocoa powder 1m/90c/sp2
  3. Add Walnuts - chop on sp4-5 until small pieces - maybe a couple of 3 second bursts
  4. Blades in Reverse Counter-clockwise operation
  5. Add sugar, vanilla and egg. 5s/sp4 Counter-clockwise operation
    Scrape bowl, another 5s/sp4 Counter-clockwise operation
  6. Add flour and salt, sp4/Counter-clockwise operation in 5 second bursts until mixed thoroughly
  7. Place teaspoons of mixture on papered tray. Not too close together as they do grow a little.
  8. Cook 13 minutes at 175 Fan.
  9. Remove from oven, top each biscuit with a chocolate button and leave for a few minutes until chocolate is melted. Spread over biscuit and then remove and place on a wire rack to cool
