  • 100 g dried cranberries
  • 50 g crystalised ginger
  • 100 g Shredded coconut
  • 410 g sweetened condensed milk (one tin)

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180C (fan forced).

    Place nuts in , 3 seconds, speed 5. Remove from bowl and place to one side.

    Place cranberries and ginger in , 3 seconds, speed 5.

    Add nuts and coconut to , 5 seconds, speed 3 .

    Add condensed milk to mixture. 10 seconds, .

    Line a baking tray with baking paper.

    Place mixture on tray and roll out to a rectangle to a thickness of approx 12mm.

    Use a wet knife to pre-cut into bars.

    Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until golden.

    Allow to cool for 5 minutes then recut bars before placing on cooling rack.

    Once cooled, place bars in air-tight container between sheets of baking powder in refrigerator. Can be stored for up to a week.
