      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add cashews, buckwheat, ginger and salt into mixing bowl.

    Grind 20 seconds/speed 10.

    Add dates and chop 10s/speed 9.

    Weigh in coconut oil.

    Mix 10 seconds/speed 7.

    Roll into small balls and store in the fridge.

Tip

Can make in TM31 as well.

If you cannot eat buckwheat then substitute it with almonds and pumpkin seeds.

    I use a combination of dates, goji berries, saltanas, figs  - instead of just the dates

    I also add fresh ginger and/or ginger oil - I like the bite that ginger gives.
