Honey Nougat Slice

  • 60 g rolled oats
  • 30 g dessicated coconut, (or shredded coconut)
  • 40 g Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 40 g Peanut Butter
  • 20 g honey, (or rice malt syrup for vegan)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut cream
  • 60 g milk chocolate, (or dark chocolate if preferred)

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place oats in mixing bowl and mill for 8 Seconds/Speed 8.
    2. Add all remaining ingredients to mixing bowl and mix for 10 seconds/Speed 4. The mixture should resemble dough.
    3. Press into a lined baking loaf tin and set aside.
    4. Place chocolate into mixing bowl and grate for 5 Seconds/Speed 8. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl.
    5. Melt for 2 minutes 30 Seconds/50 degrees/Speed 2 or until melted.
    6. Pour melted chocolate over the top of the mixture and refrigerate until chocolate has set.
