Vanilla Pancakes
- 160 grams Self Raising Flour
- 2 tablespoon sugar, i used raw
- 1 egg
- 180 grams Milk, Zymil for lactose free version
- 30 grams Butter, I use nutlex use what ever you have though.
- 2 tablespoon vanilla essence, Mine is homemade, so is a little stronger, but can use less or more. Its up to you :)

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Describe the preparation steps of your recipe
Put your butterfly into place in your thermomix.
Add the flour, sugar, egg, milk, butter and vanilla essence into your thermomix.
Put lid into place"Closed lid"
Slowly turn to speed 4 and mix until well combined.
Turn the fry pan on in the meantime, to get it nice and warm.
Once mixture is combined, you can start cooking.
Enjoy with homemade Jam, or some honey or lemon and sugar, toppings are endless.

Tip
You can easily double this recipe to make more without a problem.
Add half an MC of blueberrys for some extra flavour.
Omit the egg and use 1 banana if wanting to go egg-free as well
