Mars Bar Chocolate Crackles

  • 200 g Mars® Bar, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 60 g thickened cream
  • 100 g Rice Bubbles®

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add Mars Bars, Cocoa Powder and Thickened Cream to the mixing bowl and Melt, 3 minutes 30 seconds/50 degrees/speed 2/MC inserted.
  2. Scrape down sides of bowl.
  3. Melt, 2 minutes/50 degrees/speed 2/MC inserted.
  4. Add Rice Bubbles to mixing bowl and mix with spatula to help coat them in the Mars Bar mixture.
  5. Combine, 1 minute/reverse/speed 0.5/MC inserted.
  6. Scrape down sides of bowl.
  7. Combine, 30 seconds/reverse/speed 0.5/MC inserted.
  8. Line muffin/cupcake tray with cases then spoon 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of mixture into each case.
  9. Make a hole in the centre of each one and add 1 or 2 small solid easter eggs into each case.
  10. Place them in the fridge until needed.

Tip

Remove from the fridge 30 minutes before eating.
