Mumma's Chocolate Slice

Ingredients

12 portion(s)

125 gms butter,

  • 125 grams Butter
  • 115 grams P Flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 140 grams Coconut
  • 1 egg
  • chocolate glace & coconut for top

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Preheat over to 180c

    2. Add butter & sugar & mix 20 sec / sp 4 then scrape down sides.

    3. Add egg & mix 10 sec / sp 4 then scrape down sides.

    4. Add dry ingredients & mix 10 sec / sp 4 then scrape down sides.

    5. Place into a greased & paper lined 20cm square tin.

    6. Bake 15 mts - no fan on if using a fan forced oven. It will be  a little soft but will firm up on standing.

    7. Leave in tin for 15mts before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

    8. Once cool, ice with a chocolate glace icing & top with coconut.
