Eggs, Rice Malt Syrup, Coconut Oil, Arrowroot, BiCarb, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Vanilla, Carrot, Walnuts, Medjool Dates

  • 1/3 --- Cup Rice Malt Syrup
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut oil
  • 1/2 Cup Arrowroot
  • 1/3 cup coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon bicarb soda
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Powder, Cinnamon, Nutmeg mixed
  • 1 Cup Grated Carrot
  • 1/3 cup walnuts
  • 3 pieces medjool dates, pitted

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees fan forced

  2. Line the base and sides of an bread loaf tin

  3. Combine all ingredients Closed lid

  4. Speed 4 for 10 seconds to blend and break the walnuts up

  5. Trasfer to loaf tin and bake for 20 -35 minutes (depending on oven)! Serve with a dollop of butter / nutlex / coconut cream xxx

Can use maple syrup instead or rice malt syrup

    Great Flavour. Needed something quick to make. This was ideal and a bonus of it being tasty. I used pecans instead of walnuts and coconut syrup. Thanks so much for sharing.

    Yummo thanks for sharing. I used paleo coconut syrup instead of rice malt and sultanas instead of dates. So delicious, soft and moist.
