    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees. grease and line a Lamington tin.
  2. Add butter to bowl and melt 2 mins, 100 degrees, speed 1.
  3. Add sugar, flour and coconut and mix 30 seconds, speed 4.
  4. Add eggs and milk and mix thoroughly speed 4, 1 minute.
  5. Bake 20-25 minutes. Ice while warm with lemon icing.
  6. Lemon icing - 1 desertspoon butter, 1 cup icing sugar, grated lemon rind from 1/2 a lemon, lemon juice from 1/2 lemon and water as required. Mix together until you have spreadable icing. Sprinkle with coconut.
