Simple Banana Loaf

Ingredients

12 slice(s)

  • 2 tablespoons Butter/Margarine
  • 80 grams raw sugar
  • 3 over ripe bananas
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Bi-carb soda
  • 230 grams Plain Bakers Flour
  • 3 tablespoons Milk

Recipe's preparation

    Simple Banana Loaf
  1. 1. Preheat oven 180 degrees C.

     

    2. Line loaf tin with baking paper.

     

    3. Add butter and sugar and cream together speed 3 2 minutes.

    (scape down mixing bowl if you need to during this step)

     

    4. Add egg and bananas mix speed 4 10 seconds.

    (scape down mixing bowl)

     

    5. Add bi-carb, baking soda and plain flour add MC Counter-clockwise operation20seconds speed 5 reverse.

    (scrape down mixing bowl)

     

    6. Add milk speed 5Counter-clockwise operation 3 seconds.

     

    7. Pour into lined loaf tin.

     

    8. Bake for 40 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.

Tip

You can add macadamias, almonds and/or walnuts to this recipe if you wish, just add another 2 tablespoons of milk.  

You can also cook this as a cake or it makes 12 big muffins/cupcakes.

    I only included 1 egg, as it wasn't listed in the ingredients, only method. I also added a teaspoon of cinnamon, and topped with a few little chocolate chips. Delicious!!
