Just made this for dessert tonight and oh my its delicious. Turned out perfect.
No need to cook the base
No need to cook the base first - it's rather thin and cooks quickly.

This was my first ever time
This was my first ever time cooking a slice and the second thing I have done in my thermie! The only mistake I made was exchanging golden syrup for honey but I am also wondering if you bake the base first before pouring on the caramel?
Thanking you in advance
First timer.
