Tasty and easy! I've been promising my boys these for ages!! Must say I was a little dubious at first given the minimal instructions provided but these turned out great. (I was keen on this trad version rather than other adaptations out there). Surprised it said only raw sugar and not caster (which i make from raw) but it seems to have all cooked through. A few more instructions would help eg. Butter softened, maybe use butterfly if using caster? And size of spoon - teaspoon is plenty. Also found 120g was way too much of cornflakes. I measured out 100g but still used only about 60g i reckon. Thanks again. Just like my mum made!

Great! I remembered having these as a kid. This recipe did not disappoint. I added some lemon zest.

Made these tonight for work tomorrow.  Have made them years ago the traditional method and loved them.  Thank you so much for the thermie version, so quick and easy and delicious.  I made 1 1/2 quantity.  Will definitely make again.    tmrc_emoticons.)

Just made these - so yum! I totally underestimated the growing power of self raising flour and they are the size of side plates - I made them way too big - 12 cookies (I'm not much of a baker). I should have trusted your 24 suggestion! Thanks for the recipe!
