Tip

i freeze myn into a glad bag+ just pull out as needed, as they deforst easily.

You can add pretty much any dry fruit you like.

You could add nuts to these aswell, i just make them nut free so they can go in school lunch boxes.

I always keep these stocked in the freezer for lunch boxes. We call them "yummy balls" at home. Kids love them. Thanks Aimee

  • Instead of washing your bowl

    Submitted by dee55oz on 21. April 2016 - 10:26.

Instead of washing your bowl add some milk either dairy coconut soy or almond. Blitz for 10 seconds and you have a yummy drink with the  left overs

  • Healthy and easy. Very sticky

    Submitted by Jaynic on 9. February 2016 - 10:55.

Healthy and easy. Very sticky mixture but worth it as it made so many. Freezer is packed so they can just be added to lunchboxes as needed. I used sesame seeds as I didn't have sunflower seeds

A huge hit! I didn't have sunflower seeds so substituted with sesame seeds, Masters 2 & 4 are currently running around outside declaring their love for "chocolate balls"! (Master 4 is even singing about them!!). Thanks heaps for your delicious recipe  Love

  • Very tasty and a super easy

    Submitted by MissK8 on 4. February 2015 - 18:47.

Very tasty and a super easy recipe. After step 4 and replacing the lid, I measured the 50mls of maple syrup in the measuring cup - all about using least amount of bowls in this house! Unfortunately the kids weren't keen on them, but I certainly am and these will be a healthy option than reaching for a biscuit with my cuppa!! Thanks for sharing tmrc_emoticons.)
