Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Really delicious and easy. Had it with white bean mash, sausages and carrot, mint and feta salad (all made in the thermo, well all except for the snags).
Really enjoyed this. Thx.

Always makes beautiful thick
Always makes beautiful thick gravy. I add meat juices first then top up with water up to 500g. I also omit the Vegemite as my meat juices are usually full of salt so I think it would be too salty if I put Vegemite in to.
Bit too salty for my liking
Bit too salty for my liking so next time I'll make it with half the amount of vegemite
