If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
measure 1/4 cup of raw cashews into the bowl
add 2 cups of water
1 date (for sweetening)
60 seconds/speed 9
with raw cashew milk remaining in the bowl add in
2/3 cups rolled whole oats
2-3 dates
cook 10 minutes/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" REVERSE BLADE/"Gentle stir setting"
optional ingredient: 1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds can be added with the oats.
Serve with fresh fruit or as in the photo-serve with stewed Rhubarb with Apple and Strawberry (recipe from the EDC chip) and fresh fig

Tip
this milk recipe can also be made with raw almond or macadamia milk (processed in the same way as the cashews). I do not strain or pour my milk through a nut bag but leave all the nut protein in with the oats.
