For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. Recipe's preparation
- Lightly the skin with a cross in the top of each piece of fruit and place into Varoma.
NB: If you have a metal rack it will assist steam circulation.
Add 400g water to Bowl and steam for 10-15 minutes Varoma temperature Speed 2.
Skins will start to ease away from the cut point - don't overcook!
When cool enough to handle. Peel off skin, slice and store flesh as desired. See Tips below.

Tip
Handy for when you've peaches that aren't fully ripe or you want to store in fridge/freezer as the steaming increases the sweetness and reduces browning that often occurs when they are sliced.
IDEAS
Peel carefully and use as a very fancy dessert left whole.
Serve slices with ice cream, custard or on a pavlova or pie.
Freeze slices and use for chutney, smoothies, desserts or as a fabulous Sorbet/Fruity Dream.
