If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Place the dried almonds pecans and seeds in the bowl and chop on speed 6 for 3 seconds.You can adjust the consistency to your personal preference.Add the rest of the ingredients and in reverse mix on speed 3 for 10 seconds or until mixed through. Tip onto one or two lined baking trays and cook in oven at 150 degrees fan forced for 20 - 30 minutes. You may need to stir the mixture through to stop the outsides or the bottom cooking more. Cool down and store in an airtight container.

I activate the seeds and nuts but soaking them in slightly salted water generally for 6-8 hours before using them.
