Healthy Seed and Nut Muesli

Muesli mix

  • 100 g pepitas
  • 100 g buckwheat grain
  • 100 g sunflower seeds
  • 20 g sesame seeds
  • 30 g Maple syrup
  • 250 g rolled oats
  • 50 g macadamia nuts
  • 50 g Puffed rice
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 30 g macadamia nut oil
  • 50 g dried cranberries

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 160c

    Place all ingredients except cranberries in bowlClosed lid.

    Mix 30secs/speed 3/Counter-clockwise operation.

    Place mix onto thermomat and place on tray 

    Bake in oven for 10-15 mins. 

    Remove from oven and when cool mix in cranberries. 

    Store muesli in a glass airtight container.



 I find the thermomix coats each ingredient with  oil and maple, a much better result than just hand mixing it in a bowl.

When I make this mix for Christmas gifts I also add dehyrated orange skin, which I grind to a powder in the thermomix and add  when I add the crannberries.
