      Recipe is created for
      TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Kettle Mode
  1. 1. Weigh 500 g water into TM bowl & use Kettle kettle mode to boil to 100ºC Sous-vide
  2. Egg Boiler Mode
  3. Crack eggs into 4 small glasses or use measuring cup M.C.
  4. Gently place each egg between the TM blades.
  5. Use egg boiler mode on 'soft' and set TM timer to 4 minutes.
  6. Move the TM bowl to the kitchen sink, then remove the base of the TM bowl followed by the blades to allow the water to run out of the bowl into the sink. See tip below.
  7. Use an egg flip or flat spatula to remove each egg individually from the TM bowl onto a serving plate. Enjoy!

Tip

To remove the base, just twist it in an anti-clockwise motion, over the kitchen sink with the TM bowl in the normal upright position. Then quickly remove the blades once the base is off. If you're concerned about the temperature of the water, then just put on a washing up glove. You can watch me do it in a video reel on Instagram. This is the link:

This looks really interesting, I'd love to try it. Do you have any suggestions for how to handle removing the base with the boiling water in the bowl? Thanks in advance.
