For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Add coconut oil, grapeseed oil, beeswax and honey. Blend 4 mins, 70 degrees, speed 2.
Remove measuring cup and mixing bowl lid. Add essential oils of your choice. Then 10 seconds, speed 2.
Pour into prepared container and allow to cool (harden) before use.
Keep in cool dry place below 25 degrees.

Tip
Please use essential oils made for cooking and skincare and NOT diffuser oils. Your local health food store will be able to show you the difference. Use of diffuser oils on skin can be harmful.
