- 1 teaspoon Ghee
- 2 pods Cardomon
- 3 cloves
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Soak quinoa overnight. Rinse well, drain and set aside.
- Add the Ghee to your Thermomix and heat for 2 mins / Varoma "Gentle stir setting"
- Add Cardomon pods, Cloves and Cinnamon and cook 2 mins / Varoma "Gentle stir setting"
- Add drained Quinoa, stewed apples and water and cook 15 mins / 90 "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 2.

Tip
You can also use Buckwheat, Millet or Amaranth. Cooking time may need to be adjusted.
For the Fruit Puree recipe in the EDC, reduce mixing time and/or speed depending on the texture you would like your stewed apples.
