      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all ingridients into the bowl and mix 10sec/speed5

     

  2. To cook pancakes, heat a non-stick frying pan on a medium heat. For each pancake, pour in a tbsp of batter and cook 1-2 minutes or until bubbles start bursting on the pancake surface. Turn pancake over and cook for a further 1 minute. 

     

  3. Transfer into a ThermoServer or onto a plate and cover with paper towel to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve Hot.

Tip

For nut allergies and a school friendly treat, substitue macadamia nut oil for melted coconut oil. 

Serve Pancakes with maple syrup or jam.

Variation: scatter Blueberries, Raspberries or chopped Banana onto each pancakes right after pouring batter into frying pan, before bubbles start to form.
