      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Weigh sugar into the Closed lid and add vanilla bean that has been snipped into 1cm bits. Grind 1 min/speed 10.
  2. Scrape down the sides using your spatula.
  3. Add glucose syrup and water and pinch sea salt flakes.
    Cook for 10 min/ 100°/speed 2.
  4. Meanwhile sterilise jars and set aside. Once cooked pour vanilla paste into jars and seal. Store in fridge for up to 3 months.
