110 gms White sugar.150 gms rice flour.300 mls water.3 pandan leaves.1/2 tsp dried yeast.1/4 tsp salt. Oil for spraying.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  2. Mill 110 gms sugar. Speed 9 for 10 secs. Scrape down.

    Add pandan leaves tied in knot with 150 mls water into mixing bowl. Boil for 10 mins at 100 degrees,speed 1

    Add the rest of 150 mls water and salt and rice flour into mixing bowl. Mix at speed 4 for 15 secs.Dissolve dried yeast with 1 tbsp of warm water and add into flour mix. Mix for 5 secs speed 4. Pour flour mixture out over seive into container and set aside for 2 hrs.

    After 2 hrs. Place 1.5 litres to 2 litres of water into mixing bowl. Place varoma in place. Spray a shallow bowl / tray and place  into varoma container. Bring water to boil at 100 degrees, speed 1,

    When water is boiling add flour mixture into container and steam at varoma temp for 20 mins. When cooked leave to cool and cut into 8 slices.

Tip

This is a Malaysian Kueh. Can replace 50 mls of water with coconut milk.

Also can use raw sugar but cake might not be as white.

    thanks , I got it. and made for my family. I wait for the mix flour till 37 degree only i add in the yeast. That will be better result i think..
