Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add all ingredients except for the dark chocolate into the TM bowl.
Select automated custard recipe and skip through the steps selecting portion 6-8 and normal thickness. Start. When the cooking is done break the chocolate pieces into the Thermomix taking care as the mixture is hot.
"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 3 or four until the chocolate has melted.
If you have saved any in the fridge you will find it will ‘set’. Simply pop the custard back into the TM and give it a few seconds on speed 4. It will be a lovely consistency thereafter.

Tip
It’s addictive. My husband who doesn’t like coconut milk at all loves this.
I love it because it’s dairy free.
Make sure if you’re making it for vegans that the dark chocolate you choose is dairy free there are a few brands out there
