Raspberry Bliss Balls

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 8 medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 cup, unsalted cashews
  • 3 cups, desiccated coconut, 2 cups for mixture, 1 cup for coating bliss balls

Variation

  • 20 Dates pitted
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup Cashews
  • 1 1/2 cups Coconut for mixture
  • 1 cup Coconut for rolling

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Add dates to Closed lid. Speed 10 for 10 seconds

    Add all other ingredients (bar 1 cup of desiccated coconut) and blend in Closed lid til a smooth, textured consistency - Speed 7 10 seconds

    Remove mixture from bowl, use your hands to shape into balls. Either leave as they are or roll into coconut or other coating of your choice. 

     

    Other coatings may consist of;

    Cacoa powder

    Melted chocolate

    Nuts/Seeds

    LSA

    I did the variation recipe. Simple and a great healthy treat for kids. Thanks. I didn't have raspberries so I used frozen strawberries. Still tasted great, but will try with raspberries next time as it would give a stronger sweet flavour I think. I had to blitz at speed 8 for a bit longer to get the dates to mix with the rest of the ingredients.
