  • 1 --- tin of condensed milk
  • 40-100 g Flavouring of Choice (Caramel Sauce or Coulis, Choc Syrup etc)

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Icecream
  1. 1. Place into the Thermomix bowl the 600g Cream & Tin of Condensed Milk
    2. Add the butterfly whisk to the bowl
    3. Place the TM on Speed 4 - stay close and carefully peak through the MC hole and continue mixing until the mixture thickens and starts to stick up the sides (soft peaks). Caution - do not overmix as you will whip to butter instead
    4. Add the Favouring to the bowl
    5. Mix through Sp1/10sec
    6. Place into the icecream tubds and freeze until ready to serve.

Tip

Remove from the freezer for 10 minutes before serving so that the icecream can soften.
