      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place rice and 800g coconut milk in the mixing bowl and cook 30min/90°c/speed2.
  2. Add sugar, vanilla and remaining coconut milk and mix 1min/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 3.
  3. Pour into a Thermoserver or jug and allow to rest for 10-15min.
  4. Serve with fruit and a drizzle of maple syrup or any topping of your choice.

Tip

For an even creamier rice pudding, use a 400g tin of coconut milk or coconut cream and 600g of coconut milk from a carton.
This recipe works well with regular milk too.
