Donna Hay bliss balls

  • 24 Fresh pitted dates, Preferably Medjool
  • 80 grams raw cashews, Or Almonds
  • 25 grams Raw Cacao, Powder
  • Handful Organic Coconut Flakes
  • 2 level tablespoons coconut oil
  • Desiccated Coconut or, Raw Cacao for rolling

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Place dates, cashews, cacao, coconut flakes & coconut oil into TM bowl. Blend 20-30 secs Speed 7, MC on. Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls & coat in coconut or cacao.

Tip

This recipe was adapted from a Donna Hay recipe, I hope you enjoy it as much as our family does. If wanting to achieve a finer ground nut consistency you could try Turbo 1 sec until desired.
