Fireball Whisky Cinnamon Balls

  • 125 grams plain biscuits, Vanilla wafter biscuits
  • 100 grams rolled oats
  • 50 grams pitted date
  • 50 grams whisky, Fireball whisky
  • 1 level tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 level teaspoons ground cinnamon, for rolling the balls before serving.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Pulverise dry ingredients
  1. Place everything, except the whisky into the thermomix.
    Blend 10 seconds on speed 6
  2. Add whisky to the dry ingredients and Blend for 40 seconds on speed 4.
  3. Roll small balls of the mixture - about 2-3cm in diameter.
  4. Place the balls in the freezer for 30 mins or until ready to serve.
  5. Put 2 tsp cinnamon powder into a bowl and throw the frozen balls in. Give them a roll around and serve.

Tip

If you do not have Fireball Whisky, you can use regular whisky, but add another 1 tsp of cinnamon to your recipe to get more of a cinnamon taste.

To make egg free, ensure that the wafer biscuits do not contain egg.

To make gluten free, use gluden free biscuits and substitute coconut flour for the oats.

To make dairy free, ensure that the wafer biscuits do not contain dairy.
