      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

I used white musk sticks as my daughter can't have the pink ones, so I'm assuming if you use pink you will have a pale pink ice-cream

  • If you are using Pink Musk

If you are using Pink Musk Sticks you may find it best to leave the sugar out all together as they are very sweet themselves.  The white musk sticks don't seem to be as sweet so a bit of sugar just adds to the flavour.

  • I just wanted to add - this

I just wanted to add - this recipe was inspired to me by another TM user on another forum who suggested some flavours that she makes.  I have given several friends taste tests of it and it's been a great response - so I hope that you enjoy it too tmrc_emoticons.)
