For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Thermomix Method:
  1. Attach butterfly to blade and pour the cream into the Thermomix bowl. It can help if the bowl is chilled.
Whip on speed 3 for 45 to 90 seconds. While whipping, slowly drizzle in the tin of condensed milk.
Watch cream mixture through lid to avoid over-mixing. Do not leave this unattended as the mixture can split.
Mixture is ready when thick and fluffy.
Fold in chopped Toblerone and dollops of Top & Fill Caramel
Pour into a covered container and freeze until set.
  2. Traditional Method
  3. Beat cream and condensed milk until thick with an electric mixer
Fold in Toblerone pieces and dollops of top and fill caramel. Reserve some of the Toblerone to top the ice cream with.
    Do not over mix
Pour into a container with a lid and top with extra Toblerone and dollops of caramel.
Freeze overnight and serve as desired.
