      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. For the Blueberry Juice:
    > put blueberries and water into the thermomix
    > 15 seconds at speed 8.5
    > strain the blueberry juice and press through strainer
    > discard the skins seeds
    > store the Blueberry Juice in the fridge until ready use
  2. For the cocktail:
    > Combine the blueberry juice, Gin, Lime juice and ice in the thermomix. Counter-clockwise operation
    > add in the Ginger Beer and Gentle stir setting (this way the ginger beer doesn't loose its carbonation)
    > use a lime to wet the rim of the glass and then carefully roll the rim of the glass through some cinnamon on a plate.
    > add ice to your glass and and pour your cocktail mixture in
