BUTTERSCOTCH TOPPING

  • 125 g Pouring Cream
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 65 g Butter, cut into pieces
  • half tsp vanilla extract

BUTTERBEER

  • 220 g cream soda, frozen into ice cubes
  • 260 g Vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tsp butter extract
  • 1 tsp rum extract
  • 4 tbsp butterscotch topping
  • 200 g cream soda, cold, not frozen
  • 1 pinch salt
  • whipped cream, to top

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    BUTTERSCOTCH TOPPING
  1. Place the cream, brown sugar, butter and vanilla extract into mixing bowl and cook 5-7 min/80°C/speed 4. Set aside to cool completely and refrigerate until needed.  

  2. BUTTERBEER
  3. Pour one can of cream soda into ice cube trays and freeze for at least 4 hours. Once the cream soda is frozen place into the Closed lid and insert MC. Blend 10 sec/speed 10.Add all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.Pour into your favorite frosted mug.Add whipped cream and drizzle with butterscotch topping.Enjoy!

If you don't have time to wait for the cream soda to freeze, just add it in liquid form.
