Chai Latte Powder

  • 50 grams raw sugar
  • 2 level teaspoons cinamon
  • 1/2 pod vanilla
  • 1 level teaspoon cardamom pod
  • 1/2 level tablespoons ground ginger powder
  • 300 grams skim milk powder

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1.  

    Place sugar in dry and mill for 10 seconds / speed 10

     

    Add all Sprices and Vanilla Bean and Mill 20 seconds  speed 10 

     

    Last step Add Milk Powder  Mix for 20 seconds . speed 9

     

    Pop in to A Glass Jar for Storage 

     

    Instead of washing the  Bowl use the left over stuck to the bowl ..

    Add 250 ml of Milk speed 7 temp 7 3 minutes

Tip

If needed you can put a sheet of Greese proof paper between the MC and thermomix to stop the powder

    thanks for the feedback Ohh no I would def not like that either ,, I have made it a few times and had no trouble so not sure why .. maybe could leave it miling a little longer

    I like the idea of this recipe... I just made it but I have found the cardamon pods don't grind to a fine powder next time I will be using ground cardamon, because no one likes floaties in their drinks.
