  • 300 g Almond milk
  • 3 clove whole cloves

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place cardamom pods, cinammon quill, star anise and ginger into mixing bowl Closed lidand coarsely mill 30sec/speed 9

    2. Add water, almond milk, cloves, Rooibos tea leaves and rice malt syrup into mixing bowl Closed lid and cook 9min/80deg/speed 3

    3. Drain tea through fine mesh sieve into tea cups or heat proof glasses

Tip

You can reuse the spice mix once strained off for another slightly milder tea. Just start from step 2 and skip adding extra cloves.

Alternatively, this can be enjoyed as a cold drink by pouring into a heat proof glass and chilling for a hour in the fridge.
