      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Really easy. Might mix together a large batch of the spices for an easy grab and go option.

Didn't add any water- just a whole tin of coconut milk.

It fit perfectly in my mug, but next time I might halve it for a smaller portion.

  • I use the uht coconut milk.

    Submitted by mummalicious on 8. November 2016 - 09:46.

I use the uht coconut milk. The brand I use is coco quench, which is a combination of rice and coconut milk. Has a milder taste. I also use it in my traditional coffee latte.

This was a really comforting and soothing brew. I left out the water and added 1tsp vanilla. This may become a  night time staple drink for me.
