Turmeric Paste & Golden Milky

Ingredients

350 g

Turmeric Paste

  • 5 g Peppercorns
  • 100 g ground turmeric
  • 300 g water
  • 50 g coconut oil

Golden Milky

  • 2 tsp Turmeric Paste
  • 1 tbsp Boiling water, to dissolve
  • 200 g Cashew Milk, (Or Milk of Choice)
  • 1 tsp Honey - or other sweetner, (opt)

Recipe's preparation

    Turmeric Paste
  1. Add Pepper to Bowl - 1 min / speed 10 - MC ON - Set Aside.
  2. Add Ground Turmeric Powder and Water - 5 secs / speed 1 to 4, increasing speed gradually - MC ON. You may need to scrape down sides.
  3. Cook 10 mins / 90 deg / speed 2 - MC OFF.
  4. Return Pepper and Add Coconut Oil to Bowl - 5 sec / speed 3.
    Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

    Golden Milky
    1. In a Mug, Dissolve Golden Paste in Water. Add Milk and Stir. Enjoy!

Tip

Store in the fridge for about 2 weeks (not longer – it won’t taste very good after 10-14 days). You will probably need to share the Turmeric Paste with a friend - I haven’t tried making a half batch yet.

Even fancier … add a pinch of, one or a combination of ground cinnamon/ginger/cloves/vanilla extract.

Pepper and oil helps with the uptake of the Curcumin. Among many other things, it has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti cancer properties and if you can get your teenager onto it – apparently great for acne.
