My husband loved it. I also thought the salsa could be chopped less. And i needed extra flour for the flat bread.

    Loved this. So easy!

I almost didn't make it because it looked daunting but it couldn't have been easier and include my favourite thermomix recipe phrase "without washing the bowl" many times haha. I cheated and used store-bought soft tacos which made it even easier. Everyone loved it and it will become a regular with us.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Great sides to any mexican

    Submitted by Beckstar25 on 13. April 2016 - 16:26.

Great sides to any mexican meat/seafood taco. For a quick meal I used frozen crumbed fish from the freezer and just the salsa, bajar and cabbage and it was still super tasty. The quantities made enough for 2 decent meals for 2 people.

This is really yummy. My family aren't huge chilling fans so I left the chili out and only put 1/2 a teaspoon of cayenne in the fish marinade. Hubby still thought it was a bit spicy but I thought it had a little heat but not too much.

The salsa was chopped too much so I will blend for a shorter amount of time next time I make this dish. As mentioned above, the flatbreads need a lot of flour so they don't stick but they taste amazing!

overall, we really enjoyed this dish. Thanks so much!

Flat bread was delicious, and the cabbage salad, salsa and bajar sauce were easy to make and delicious.  Maybe next time I will not chop salsa as much so it is chunky.   Thank you for the recipe.
